It was August 1952 when the "Greenbaum Boys" opened the doors of Greenbaum Brothers. Alvin Greenbaum was an interior designer and visionary for home fashion trends. Jimmy had a business degree and background in manufacturing and retail sales. Both were passionate about fine designs, quality and service.

In those years, Greenbaum specialized in early American furniture, building close relationships with many companies we still deal with today. As the design business bloomed and other designers were brought on staff, the need to find unique merchandise increased. So "the boys" began traveling through Europe and Asia. Today, we have over 2000 sources encompassing the globe.

As customer demand grew for custom-styled and sized pieces, Greenbaum Workrooms were born. Today, our Paterson complex has over 30 artisans manufacturing world-class pieces.


Fifty years later...with 5 expansions, and the addition of Country Mile House in Morristown, New Jersey...Greenbaum Interiors services continuously evolve to benefit our customers.

Today, Jimmy, Ellen and Susan Greenbaum along with an extended family of talented designers and artisans continue the art of fine interior design and decoration with the same principles and beliefs.
